You really don’t know who my brother is or how he acts. I didn’t blame just the weed. I blamed the lifestyle and the people associated with it. You know, those guys that sit in the parking lot and sell dope out of their trunks at recess or lunch or whatever the fuck the breaks are called now. Or the stoners that go to summer school every year. Or the ones who can’t do anything without getting high, they go to class high, go to the movies high. Take your pick. Those are your precious stoners. I can’t tell you how many idiots I’ve seen driving down the road, hotboxing their cars. How many guys have I seen take a swig of Jack in their cars? None. There is a double standard. Nobody’s a proud alcoholic, but there sure are lots of proud stoners.
Again, this is not the case with everybody. I never said don’t smoke weed. I said don’t abuse weed, because it is a drug.
My Pothead Brother.
So many people have their shit backwards with pot. From the conservative bigwigs in parliament/congress (depending on where you’re from), to the high (literally) school kids who just don’t give a fuck. Start giving a fuck. Weed isn’t nothing. I’ve seen it destroy my brother. You don’t get addicted to the substance, you get addicted to the feeling. I’m sure part of it is my brother’s personal problems, but don’t think the stoner lifestyle and mentality haven’t played their part. His friends are losers too. My brother smokes in the bathroom of our house, he steals from me and my parents to pay for it, and frankly, smells like a giant fart most of the time. I hate the stress it puts on my mother. He is currently failing multiple classes, and doesn’t care about graduating at all. Like father, like son I guess. He stopped giving a fuck years ago, and I haven’t seen him since.
To everyone else, you can smoke weed all you want, I, for one, am done with it. I still think it should be legal, but it is not something you should do everyday. Don’t get drunk everyday, don’t get high everyday. Give a goddamn fuck. Simple.
